Brent closed Reflection Bay at T13, signing for a 69 to finish nine-under for the week. He was flawless off the tee in the final round and called the front nine very solid, with the back nine cooling after two shot-shape decisions on the par 5s he estimated cost at least three strokes. The week's signature stretch came Friday, when a high 7-iron from 187 to ten feet on 13 kicked off four-to-five birdies between 11 and 15. "I am delivering the club properly. I am much less focused on mechanics and just playing golf," Brent said, pointing to two weeks of work ahead before his next start.

Brent Grant delivered his best finish of the 2026 season at the Old Town Classic, climbing the leaderboard each day with rounds of 70-68-66 to finish T4 at 12-under, five back of winner Nicky Kling. The Sunday 66 was the engine — a 33-spot jump up the board built on the kind of ball-striking Grant has been chasing all year. "Consistent strike and distance control. Ball flight prediction is important to have. And I am quickly becoming much better than I have been in the past," Grant said, noting his putting is trending up alongside it. With one event left in the Asher Tour window and Korn Ferry status the target, the timing could not be sharper.

Jun 1· Update

Brent's T4 at the Old Town Classic was built on the sharpest wedge work of his season. From 60-80 yards and again from 110-120, he stuck multiple approaches within a few feet on short-sided pins where trajectory and spin had to be exact. Layer in the touch he's shown around the greens through May and continued progress on the putter, and every part of the scoring game is trending the right direction.
